We loved our two years at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, California. It was life transforming, inspiring, encouraging, building, and there we were launched into the amazing last half of our life. Though in Colorado now, we still miss everything about Bethel and will visit our "second home" often.


Those of you considering going, sending your kids, or supporting a student can ask us anything about it. We are so thankful to God to have been summoned and sent. So thankful that nothing that was "spent" on us by teachers, mentors, and supporters has been lost in the transition from school to life and work in our beloved Colorado. God is keeping us busy!

When we graduated - the main message was "go" - you have what it takes. Students  are equipped for the life God has called them to - whether business, arts, medicine, technology, industry, or church work. It's about carrying the Presence of the Father - loving Creator; the Son - forever with us as we walk out His example on earth; and Holy Spirit - our wisdom, comfort, and guide. Not taught - but imparted...not learned intellectually as much as spiritually and through sheer experience.

Consider a weekend visit to Bethel - where you will encounter love so amazing from the Friday night service, to the Saturday healing rooms, to time in the prayer chapel, to three inspiring, healing, prayerful, encouraging, worshipful services on Sundays.

You can't go for a weekend and not have God touch you in some way. Ask my daughter, Bess, and granddaughter Sami - or any number of friends that paid us a visit while we were there.

Is God summoning you to a meeting with him? I one-hundred percent encourage you to "go!"

2012 - The Best Year!

New Year's greetings to all of our friends around the world!

Rick and I are excited about this new year. We are filled with hope. God is answering prayers and blessing in amazing ways. We are overflowing and we just extend those same blessings to our friends and family as they face all the adventures this year will bring.

Jobs

Rick is enjoying night shifts doing his natural gas flowback and frac operations with Encana. No kidding. He really likes this work. He's fascinated by the operations and enjoys long nights atop frigid mountains monitoring wells and servicing equipment. He gets home around 6:30 a.m., sleeps for 6 hours, spends a couple hours reading and taking care of business, and then it's back to work. When he does have time off, he gets a whole week and then we travel to visit family and friends and hang out together in our beloved Colorado.

I continue to help authors and do some writing, editing and photography, working from my pretty home in Parachute. My office has mountain views, and I take my lunch breaks out walking or swimming at the local rec center.  Check out my website! www.christinetracy.com. I also have the privilege of working on a 100 year history book and writing columns for Kremmling Community Church. This is our beloved church who blessed us to go to school for two years. Although we are not living close to them, it is wonderful to be able to continue to do what we can to try to bless them back.

Ministry

Rick and I are having many opportunities to share what we have brought back from our two years at school. I have been doing some life coaching, and teaching classes on the books: Cultivating Kingdom Creativity by Theresa Dedmon; Dream Culture by Andy and Janine Mason; and Prosperous Soul by Stephen DeSilva, using internet and conference calling. (These classes are open to anyone who can connect with me by phone and FaceBook. Let me know if you are interested.)

Rick and I are also taking the Global Legacy Leadership Development Training through Bethel Church - an amazing 12 month course where we join 1100 people from around the globe, thanks to the internet. We are doing the class with three Colorado friends and are so excited to have them on this journey with us. The course is conducted by Steve Backlund and Paul Manwaring of Bethel who have a mandate to take the kingdom culture and advance it internationally through this course.

Our prayers are that our lives bless you, and that we may impart to you the abundance of blessing and love that have been poured out on us by our good and loving heavenly Father.

Thoughts on 2012
Thank you for sharing this upcoming year - 2012 - with us. We know about the scary predictions out there...but we also have faith in the Creator of the universe - God, His Son, Jesus, and His Holy Spirit. The words we are getting from many sources are that God is re-establishing His government and His order and it starts with the family. Homes and families will be mightily blessed this year. He has been answering our prayers. Let Him answer yours!

A View From Crown Peak

It's September and the aspen trees are beginning to change to brilliant yellow. It's my favorite time of the year in the mountains. Cool breezes, cold starry nights, sunshiny warm afternoons, crunchy leaves, snowcapped peaks, brilliant blue skies...I LOVE Colorado. It truly must be one of God's favorites!!!!

Official BSSM Year 2 graduates!

Since graduating from 2nd year at BSSM (Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry), Rick and I have re-settled in a new town - Parachute, Colorado - in a little area called Battlement Mesa under a peak called Crown Peak.

Happy to have jobs!

Rick is working in the natural gas fields and is happy to be working again. I am almost finished with the first draft of my book and this week will be rewriting and editing. I can't wait for you to read it! I'm also associate editor for Kingdom Life Magazine, a new magazine published by Dr. Myles Munroe's team and distributed throughout the world. In addition, I am editing for a fiction author and a children's author. Both of their books will be published soon and are amazing. Stay tuned for more information on how to find them. I also am doing some writing and communications work for our long time home church, Kremmling Community Church. What a blessing they are and it's fun to watch what God is doing there. Rick and I were honored this summer to be able to speak to them about our time at school - and to talk to them about intimacy with God; healing ministry; and their identity in the Father as adopted sons and daughters. It was a precious time for us.

My creative dream is to be able to write books and use them as tools as I travel and speak to groups about hope and destiny and our good God.

I love my writing, editing and author coaching. It is so fun, and exactly what I want to be doing. My prayer is that eventually it will prosper us, too. God has promised that! So, meanwhile, I take what He sends and love every moment. I am so thankful for Rick's new job, our pretty rented home, and being close again to some of our family.

God is a techie

God loves technology. Did you know that? We are keeping in close touch with our Bethel friends who are now located all over the world. We Skype with our grandchildren, and we text and email daily with our kids. What a world we live in. When I was a young mother, I could barely talk to my mom once per week because long distance calls were very expensive. I have a collection of letters she wrote to me, mailed with a postage stamp. She also gave me the letters I wrote to her before she passed away. I love them.

With our present day technology, I feel so blessed to be able to stay in closer touch with my family. I also love that I can do my work from my pretty home office and have it read around the world. I'm amazed at how many people are reading this blog from nations I have never even been to. I love you all!

We welcome any questions or responses from you regarding our time as students at Bethel and what God is doing now after we have been in two intense years of equipping. God is about to do something big. There have been many signs. If you are seeing them, you know it too. Signs can include what we used to think were coincidences. Numbers lining up on the clock, people speaking into our lives, dreams in the night. I feel our Papa God has placed us strategically in this area of the country and is allowing us a time of rest and regrouping. We have been thoroughly equipped in the prophetic, in the healing and prayer ministry, in leadership, in life coaching, in kingdom creativity, in kingdom financial training, and even dream culture and destiny coaching. These are good and beautiful - promising and effective. They all have God's anointing and thumbprint of power and grace on them. And they are for everyone who is hungry to receive.

Could that be you? We pray you take the risk and enter into this amazing life God has planned on your behalf.

Churches come together in Tecate, Mexico

Something big happened in Mexico when we were there. It's difficult to know its ramifications, but our team was privileged to witness and participate in a weekend that brought churches in the Baja Peninsula together for the first time. Our leaders, Eric and Candace Johnson joined pastors from La Paz, Tijuana and Tecate for a conference hosted by the ministry school at Rancho de Sus Ninos in Tecate.

We also helped dedicate the new hospice / healing home - a beautiful building that will care for the terminally ill with expectations of releasing them fully recovered by the healing power of Jesus.

The children who live here at the orphanage are all ages, living in group homes under the care of a house parent. They are beautiful children and are much loved here at this place, where they have built schools for the children of the orphanage and the surrounding community.

We spent many hours during the conference ministering in prayer over the people at the conference, giving them words of healing, encouragement, and love. We joined one little boy from the orphanage who was praying for the sick and seeing miracles. His name was Brian, and he and Rick became pals while we were there.

Our team saw miracles of pain and disease disorders disappearing from bodies, and many were touched by the power of God's love. Messages of life and declarations of goodness over the region and over Mexico brought an atmosphere of hope to the people in this border region that has seen much despair.

It was fun to worship in Spanish with our friends of Mexico - the same songs we sing at Bethel. The trip culminated with some fun playing with the children, who were delighted with gifts of frisbees and small toys Rick brought from our dollar store in Redding. These kids are growing up at the orphanage, either because their parents are dead; they were abandoned; or the parents could not afford to take care of them. There are many miraculous stories of God's provision for this place - and sometime I hope to write the stories as I learn more.

Rick and I are hoping to go back with a team of friends someday to help with a construction project. This place used to see many people come to visit and help. These mission trips helped fund the orphanage and mission, but since violence in the border region due to drug cartels has been so publicized in the U.S., numbers of guests have dwindled. The whole time we were there, we felt very safe. Walls around the complex provide security, and our dorms were secure, clean, comfortable and safe. (We had to get used to bucket showers and port-a-potties, but we just learned that the complex received funding for a new plumbing system. Yay!)

The whole school is preparing to go on mission trips all over the world in the next two months. A few groups have already traveled and returned, bringing with them amazing stories of ministering to people so hungry to know the love of the One who gave His life so they would be truly free. We are hearing testimonies of healing and revival; of students praying over leaders of nations, and the presence of God bringing mighty transformation as His Kingdom advances.

These are exciting times as we are involved in what has been prophesied as the one billion soul harvest. It has already begun!

Rick and I are getting ready to go on three different trips. We will be traveling to Tecate, Mexico with a team under the leadership of Eric Johnson, ministering to a school, an orphanage, and a community. I will be going with a team to Orlando, Florida with Bill Johnson, ministering at a Global Awakening healing conference. And Rick will be heading to Castle Rock, Colorado, ministering with a team led by Bill Johnson at another Global Awakening healing conference with Randy Clark. We are anticipating being able to minister to hundreds of people in our own nation and in Mexico, and we can't wait. We are bursting to share what God has been pouring into us this past two years. And we are going to learn so much.

Hi to all!

We are now into our 2nd year at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. It is a year of intense studies in New Testament, counseling, coaching, and deeper relationship with God. Leadership training is a main focus, and we will be accompanying some of the leadership from Bethel to various places in the U.S. this year to be on their ministry teams.

San Francisco
I just returned from San Francisco, where I was part of a team of 20 people with leader Teresa Dedmon as we put on a School of Kingdom Arts. Our amazingly creative team included ballet dancers, a modern dancer, singers, musicians, painters, photographers and writers. We held a two day workshop at one church and did a Sunday service and ministry time at another church. Both churches were in the San Francisco area.

One young man visiting the conference is an intern with Dreamworks Studios in Hollywood. He had never painted prophetically, and Teresa asked him to paint for her healing service. He painted a picture of an angel blowing healing onto a man with injuries and bandages on his legs and hand. Teresa looked at the people in the church, and asked if any in the church had problems with legs or wrist injuries and pain as depicted in the painting. Two women stood up and received ministry. One woman was completely healed of severe arthritis that prevented her from bending at the knees. She also had a cast on her wrist. After prayer, she was doing deep knee bends. Another woman had a disease that affected her balance and caused great pain. After prayer, she asked Mike, a dancer, to dance for her and she was able to move and dance with him - something she had wanted to do and hadn't been able to do in years. Her pain was gone and mobility returned.

There were many more testimonies of physical and emotional healing during the weekend - and many words spoken over the churches and people of God's anointing power bringing healing and revival to their city and nations through their hands. People learned to pray and administer healing through the arts. They learned for themselves how to paint, dance, write and sing what God was saying over each other and over their church. I will be helping to put together a website link about our weekend and all the testimonies. As soon as that is up, I'll have a link to it on my blog so you can see. Also, I will have copies of one of Teresa's sermons on the arts that I would love all of you to have a chance to hear. God is so amazing. Our Creator loves the creative!

Classes
Our classes are so wonderful. We are both taking advanced training in Kingdom financial stewardship, leadership coaching and SOZO ministry. I am taking a Transformation track that explores inner healing as it applies to dreams, SOZO, generational issues, and other forms of inner healing counsel. Rick is taking a Church Planting and Leadership class with Steve Backlund and is actually putting on services with his team of 6 one night a week as part of the class.

We consistently hear lectures from the Bethel leadership team: Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton, Eric Johnson, Danny Silk, Kevin Dedmon, Beni Johnson, and more. Today, Che Ahn is a special speaker to our class as he is here for a conference.

We have major homework in Bible, book reading, and leadership training / coaching. It is all good and keeps us busy always.

Work
I am again working at the Redding Record Searchlight newspaper and love writing and doing photography for feature stories. I'm hoping to get faster at this and be able to do more for them this year. I get paid by the story, so the more I write the more I can get paid. It's funny, we had to take a personality profile and motivational test the other day, and after answering a bunch of online questions, the results came back that called me a "journalist." Hmmmmm.... AND, yes, I still hope to finish a book this year. I also have three other book ideas.

Pastor on Call Team
Rick and I are both excited to be on the Pastor On Call team, where we volunteer in the Bethel office once a week to take calls for prayer from around the U.S. and world. This is awesome training for us as we learn to listen to what the Holy Spirit is telling us for the caller. It is scary, risky, and awesome and we have many testimonies of people being so touched by the love of Jesus; set free from bondage; and healed of afflictions. Rick is also working in the healing rooms on prayer teams once a month and I am writing testimonies in the healing rooms once a month.

A week in the life...

Picture at left depicts a walk we took last Sunday on a rare, sunny day of 60 degrees. It was beautiful. Here we are (see our shadow?) standing on a bridge over the creek that feeds Whiskeytown Lake, about 30 minutes from where we live. Ahhhh...sunshine.

Here is what our week looks like...

Monday - A day off. We usually do homework, laundry, clean the house, go grocery shopping, and do more homework. Sometimes we catch a movie if there's one that looks good. We recently saw Blindside with Sandra Bullock. We highly recommend it! It's been years since we lived in a city, so we are enjoying movie theaters that are five minutes away. Lately, Rick has been doing carpentry work on Mondays, and I usually finish an article for the local daily newspaper - The Record Searchlight.

Tuesday - I work in the Bethel Pastor on Call office from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.; then we join the student crowd waiting to get into the 1,000 seat sanctuary where we have our lecture classes. We start with worship - and there are dozens of great worship teams that get lots of good practice with us. We have to admit, our 58-year-old ears need ear plugs most days! Next is a lecture by one of the senior leaders - Bill Johnson or Kris Vallotton or a guest speaker. This week we heard Sergio Scataglini - who has been involved with the great revival going on in Argentina and presently co-pastors a church in Las Vegas. After the lecture, we break into our AMT (Advanced Ministry Training) or Ministry Tracks. I am taking a Prophetic Arts track where I am developing a line of greeting cards with a group of about 10 people. It's creative, fun, and I am going to be able to use some of my photography and others are contributing sketches, paintings, and other forms of art to a line designed to bring encouragement and hope to recipients. Cards will be sold in book stores and at conferences. Rick is taking a Church / School Planting and Leadership Track. He is learning about how you start a school of ministry that equips others to carry the kingdom culture and message. It's about not being a Bible study school, but a school that teaches how we can do what the Bible says as we walk the earth. After that class, we go to our training for our Tijuana mission trip we'll be going on in March. Rick will be doing kids' ministry, and I'll be doing photography, recording testimonies, and even trying my hand at prophetic art. On that trip we'll be praying for healing for people all over Tijuana, conducting services in six locations, and sharing the love of Christ. After that meeting, we go to Healing Rooms training and I also have a book writing class. That takes us to 9 p.m. and by then we are quite wiped out!

Wednesday - Wednesday mornings we study. School starts at 12:45 p.m. and we have a class called Kingdom Foundations; then Grasping God's Word; then a lecture by a senior leader or guest speaker. Then we split into small men's and women's groups. We love our small groups, where we get to know other students more closely as we share our lives, dreams and prayers with them. We have people from all over the world in our groups.

Thursday - Thursday morning starts early for me with more work on my creative greeting cards with members of the art group; then we have worship with the big class, followed by lectures, and then our outreach ministry groups. Rick and I are on a healing outreach. Our group of 7 people goes to hospitals, nursing homes, and individual homes who have called for our team to come pray with critically ill people.

Friday - We have worship, then more lectures, and then we break into what they call revival groups - our group of 45 that meets with a revival pastor for testimony and group discussion.

Saturday - We attend the healing rooms in the morning as observers. We have just been trained, and applied to be placed on a team that can actually minister healing prayer. Every Saturday sees 150 to 300 people coming from all over the world to the healing rooms at Bethel. Every week there are miraculous testimonies of healing from cancer, tumors falling off, bones being healed, vision and deafness being healed, pain completely going away, and more. I have worked several Saturdays in the healing room taking testimonies from people who have had healing. It is the most humbling and exciting experience to witness these people being so touched by God. I have to testify myself that, after going to the healing rooms a few times, and having healing prayer in class, that my back - which has hurt badly for many years - is totally without pain...and my migraines which I used to have once a week, are about 90 percent gone. Thank you God!!!!

Sunday - As students and prayer servants, we are supposed to go to morning and evening services at Bethel. I also take a Spanish class on Sunday afternoons in preparation for my Mexico mission trip!!!! Hola!!!  Rick works all morning cooking and cleaning in the dining room, where the church feeds up to 200 homeless or needy people bussed in from the city.

Most mornings and on the weekend, you will also find us studying, reading, and doing our carpentry and writing jobs.

In spite of this crazy schedule, we have loads of energy and are able to keep up with all the young people!
